On 24 April, Alchemia’s ARGON building hosted its first Speed Business Meeting. The session consisted of short, pre-organised series of meetings between the representatives of four chambers of commerce: Belgian, French, Dutch and Scandinavian, and local business representatives
It was a full-capacity, intensive networking event that ended with a panel debate dedicated to the different areas of the local economy. These meetings are very important for their networking value alone. For us, they offer a chance to reach out to the business community and potential clients. It is also an opportunity to show off our investment projects – our office buildings.
We are eager to host these kinds of events and take part as participants as well. During the debate we talked about the expectations of tenants and investors, and how our region and our nation are perceived on the office market. We also dedicated some time to the job market.
Marcin Piątkowski, Torus Leasing Director, said
The format of Speed Business Meeting allows its participants to promote their services to a very wide audience (i.e. interacting with multiple chambers of commerce). The participants were able to take part in a series of short meetings with the representatives of their chosen business sector. They were divided into groups based on their responses to the previously submitted entry form, with each participant receiving their own meeting agenda. The talks were preceded by a debate entitled ‘business trends on the Polish market - opportunities and challenges in 2018.’ The event was topped off with lunch and networking. Torus served as partner, participant and host of the event.
