Ocean Network Express, a global container handling holding, opened its Central Service Center in Gdańsk. The new office is located in the Argon building, part of the Alchemia office complex. 120 logistics and shipping experts already work in the new office. The deal was handled by Cushman & Wakefiled.

Opening of the new center is part of the business integration process of container shipping by three Japanese shipping companies. Ocean Network Express was established on July 7, 2017, by the integration of 'K' Line, MOL, and NYK. The Holding company was set up in Japan on July 7th, 2017 and simultaneously a business management company was established in Singapore. Regional headquarters have been established in Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, USA and Brazil and services have started in April 2018. The Central Service Center (CSU) located in Gdansk will be a key part of ONE’s operation, handling Port Operations and Equipment (container) management services as well as M&R (Maintenance & Repair) for Europe.

The new ONE office is located on the VI floor of the Argon building and occupies 1.500 sqm. The lease agreement with the building’s developer, Torus, has been signed for 5 years.

Argon is the third stage of the Alchemia business complex developed by Torus. The total leasable area of the building is over 38 thousand sqm, including 36 thousand sqm of offices. The ground floor of the building hosts several retail and service premises, mostly restaurants. Currently, the fourth stage of Alchemia, the Neon building, is under construction. It will supply over 35 thousand sqm of leasable area with nearly 33.5 thousand sqm intended for offices. The planned date for putting the building into service is the turn of the third and fourth quarter of 2019. All Alchemia buildings are certified in the LEED system at the highest, Platinum, level. The entire Alchemia complex was designed by APA Wojciechowski studio from Warsaw. Architects & Consultants / AVA Agnes Vorbrodt & Associates are responsible for the conducting the LEED process.
