The summer edition of the Holiday Postcards competition concluded at the end of August, with the jury deliberating on the results in September. Every artist was rewarded and the works will be on display at City Cafe until the end of October.
The goal of the summer edition of our contest was to draw, paint or otherwise depict the kids’ holiday memories and to expand their arts skills and imagination. The artworks had been submitted on an A3 piece of paper, employing a variety of techniques and styles: pencil, crayons, markers, water paint, modelling clay, tissue paper, decoupage and others. The jury consisted of six members – TORUS employees – and to ensure fairness, the children of Torus employees were not allowed to participate. To illustrate the importance of the contest, the event was mentioned at the quarterly Torus meeting with Alchemia tenants.
