On February 28, the Alchemia office centre in Gdańsk once again hosted Torus Triathlon In Da House. The sixth edition of the competition saw 41 corporate relay teams and over a dozen individual athletes. Nearly 70,000 PLN in entry fees had been raised for the charity RaceRunning Trójmiasto.
The first edition of Torus Triathlon In Da House was held exactly five years ago, on 28 February 2015. But why does Torus, an office real estate developer, organise a triathlon event? Our mission is to create modern workspace, but we try to give our business partners something more. With TTIDH, we have created an opportunity for a wonderful sporting adventure, as well as a place for meeting other people, business networking, self-development and overcoming weaknesses. Together with our event partners, this year we have raised nearly 70,000 PLN for RaceRunning Trójmiasto. In all six editions we have supported six different foundations and collected over 200,000 PLN, an achievement we are extremely proud of.
Natalia Manuszewska, Torus (event organiser)
Our contestants – both the pros and the amateurs - have definitely taken their preparations seriously this year. Everyone gave their one hundred percent, there was fierce competition we know from professional triathlon events and great teamwork as well. Our spectators were also amazing and a powerful motivation for the contestants. This year’s competition also featured brand new design. Most importantly, however, we have managed to raise a large sum of money for our cause, RaceRunning Trójmiasto.
